Sulzbach ( listen ? / I ) is a district of the Upper Bavarian town of Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm , which is about four kilometers west of the district town. Audio file / audio sample

history

The community Sulzbach, founded in 1818 with the Bavarian community edict, comprised a total of 16 places, namely in addition to Sulzbach the places and hamlets Brunnhof, Buchhof, Dandermayer, Ebenhof, Fürholzen, Holzried, Kienhöfe, Kleineberhof, Kohlhof, Menzenbach, Menzenpriel, Pernzhof, Satzlhof, Schabenberg and Wolfsberg . The place was partially inhabited by Mennonites from the Rhine Palatinate in the 19th century . The community lost its independence on January 1, 1972 and was incorporated into the district town of Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm.
