Angkofen is a district of the Upper Bavarian town of Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm , which is about four kilometers north of the district town.

history

The community of Angkofen, founded in 1818 with the Bavarian community edict, with the places Eutenhofen, Gittenbach and Grubhof, lost its independence on January 1, 1972 and was incorporated into the district town of Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm.

Attractions

The Church of St. John the Evangelist (patronage on December 27th) dates from the 15th century. It is a Gothic hall church, hardly changed, with a retracted choir.
