Goebelsbach

Göbelsbach is a district of the Upper Bavarian town of Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm and is located about 8 km northwest of the district town. The parish village with 92 inhabitants received in 1998 in the competition Our village should be more beautiful - our village has a future with a gold medal qualification for the national finals.

history

Göbelsbach is an old Hofmarkort . With the Hofmark Pörnbach, the Counts of Törring owned a complex consisting of nine originally independent court brands. The administrative center of the court brands Pörnbach, Euernbach , Göbelsbach, Tegernbach , Ritterswörth , Burgstall , Eschelbach , Förnbach and Puch, which had been the patrimonial courts of the Counts of Törring-Jettenbach since 1819/20 , was in Pörnbach. Patrimonial jurisdiction was abolished in the revolution of 1848 .

Attractions

  • Parish Church of St. Vitus : the tower and choir date from 1430, the nave from 1713 was extended in 1922.
