The Sulzbachtalbrücke is a valley bridge over the Sulzbachtal between Sulzbach / Saar and Friedrichsthal in Saarland .

The traffic of the federal autobahn 8 between the junction Elversberg and the freeway triangle Friedrichsthal (with the federal autobahn 623 ) is carried over the bridge. It spans the Nahe Valley Railway from Saarbrücken to Bingen or Gau-Algesheim between the Sulzbach-Altenwald and Friedrichsthal (Saar) stations. The lane has three lanes in both directions, the right lane lanes are marked as acceleration and deceleration lanes in the direction of the motorway triangle.

The structure, which is 31 meters wide and 50 meters high, consists of a girder bridge for each lane. It was erected from March 21, 1966 to July 10, 1969. The total investment was around 16.5 million German marks . The bridge, which is curved in plan, is 800 meters long and has 16 openings, each with a 50-meter span . The two superstructures have a T-beam cross-section with four prestressed precast concrete girders lying next to each other . The 15 V-shaped pairs of pillars have a flat foundation.

A repair was carried out in the early 2000s for 9.7 million euros.
