Super700 is a band from Berlin founded in 2003 by Ibadet Ramadani and Michael Haves .
history
Super700 was founded in 2003 by Ibadet Ramadani and Michael Haves in Berlin. The two still form the creative core today and are primarily responsible for the text and the composition. The band played their first concerts in Berlin clubs. This was followed by a first tour through Germany and Switzerland . Super700 released her first six songs on the mini album When Hare And Fox Had Fun, which was released on Lasso Music in May 2005 . In 2004 Super700 wrote pieces for the film Dancing with myself, which premiered at the Berlinale 2005. The band met American producer Gordon Raphael (the former producer of the Strokes ), who settled in Berlin and started working with Super700. The debut album Super700 was created in autumn 2005 and spring 2006 and was released by Motor Music at the end of May 2006 .
After that, the band toured Europe for several years and played shows at festivals in Vancouver and Los Angeles by invitation. In 2008 the band was back in the studio to record their second album Lovebites with Irish producer Rob Kirwan (the former producer of U2 and PJ Harvey ), which was released on February 27, 2009 on Motor Music. This record was also released abroad and accompanied by two concert tours to China. The two background singers and sisters of the front singer Ibadet Ramadani, Ilirjana and Albana Ramadani and guitarist Johannes Saal left the band shortly afterwards due to internal problems. Instead, Jan Terstegen, the tour guitarist from Ich + Ich, joined the band as a permanent member . Soon after, keyboardist Simon Rauterberg left the group.
In April 2012, the third Super700 album Under the No Sky was released , which was completely self-produced.
