Trivia
- At nine points in the play the audience can choose between two options. Voting takes place using a noise meter .
- Depending on the audience 's choice , the staff in the Ladies Supermarket either rehearse the mini fairy tale musical Snow White and the seven fruit gnomes or three coconuts for Cinderella . The audience also determines whether Nick Bodenmann or Conny Gerber the Snow White, respectively. the Cinderella, is supposed to play. As an encore, the mini-fairy-tale musical determined by the audience is performed in the cast determined by the audience. The two mini-fairy-tale musicals are medleys made from stupid variations of the songs from the musical.
- Depending on the audience's choice, the icy villain is thawed in the hammam or in the bakery. This decision results in a different set, different costumes and a different song on the stage.
- Fritz Bisenz ' fictional character Barbara Hutzenlaub (known from the Coemdy group Acapickels ) was built into the musical.
- In the middle of the song Will ich e Thütschi bin an audience vote takes place. Depending on the outcome of the election, the song has a different final refrain.
Reviews
- “This musical is a declaration of love for Switzerland. - Switzerland with its density stress, its trade unions and its diverse inhabitants; and with votes that sometimes seem more, sometimes less useful, but are always taken very seriously. Carefree and yet well-considered, “Supermarket Ladies” brings everyone's everyday experiences and worries onto the stage in a setting that everyone knows. With a lot of self-irony and a little self-praise, the Flaschka / Riklin duo celebrates Switzerland, the Swiss - and the courage to rebel. "(Flavia Bonanomi in Aargauer Zeitung, September 28, 2018)
- “A musical doesn't always have to take the politically decent route. But if the initial situation is feminist, then there should be no room for problematic abuse. Especially not as whitewashed musical gags. "(Naomi Gregoris in bz Basel, May 24, 2019)
