Sura Bayoru Yekka (born January 4, 1997 in Toronto ) is a Canadian soccer player .

Career

societies

Yekka, the daughter of Ugandan immigrants, began playing football at North Mississauga SC when she was six and played for Brams United SC from 2010 to 2014, where the future national player Kadeisha Buchanan had already started her career. Since 2015, Yekka has been playing for the Michigan Wolverines university team while studying at the University of Michigan .

National team

Yekka made his debut on October 30, 2013 in a friendly against South Korea in the Canadian national team. In 2014 she took part in both the U-17 and U-20 World Cups. For the 2015 Women's World Cup in her home country, however, she was not considered by national coach John Herdman .
