Susan Ella-Mittrenga

Susan Ella-Mittrenga (* 1967 in Magdeburg ) is a German politician . She was the board spokeswoman for the Bremen regional association of Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen.

Life, education and work

Susan Ella-Mittrenga studied sport and history in Rostock . After graduating as a certified teacher in 1991, she initially worked for various cultural and educational institutions in Rostock . From 1996 to 2001 Ella-Mittrenga was the managing director of the Heinrich Böll Foundation in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania .

Ella-Mittrenga has been running a girls' educational facility in Bremen-Huchting since 2001 . Since 2009 she has also passed the second state examination for teaching. Susan Ella-Mittrenga has been married to former FDP politician Mark Ella since April 2011 .

politics

In the 1990s Susan Ella-Mittrenga joined the Rostock district association of the Greens . For the 1998 state election in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, she ran for third place on the green state list, but the party failed to make it into the state parliament. She then briefly belonged to the green state executive.

Since moving to Bremen in 2001, Ella-Mittrenga was active in the Bremen Greens. In 2003 she was elected spokeswoman for the regional association and was confirmed in this office in 2005, 2007 and 2009. Your equal colleague in the board office since 2009 was the member of parliament Karin Mathes , who resigned from office in June 2011 after being elected local office manager. Ella-Mittrenga did not run for the next election. She was replaced on November 12 of the same year by Henrike Müller and Hermann Kuhn .

In June 2016 Ella-Mittrenga left the party.
