Susan Morton Bluestone

Susan Morton Blaustein (born March 22, 1953 in Palo Alto ) is an American composer and music teacher .

Blaustein was a student of Karl Kohn at Pomona College and studied at the Yale School of Music with Jacob Druckman , David Lewin and Betsy Jolas . She continued her studies with Henri Pousseur at the Conservatoire Royal de Liège and then became an assistant professor at Columbia University . She composed chamber music , orchestral and choral works .
