Susanne König
Susanne König (born May 30, 1974 in Satu Mare , Socialist Republic of Romania ) is a former German saber fencer and German champion .
Life
She is one of the national fencers of Sathmarschwäbischer descent, as well as Zita Funkenhauser , Monika Weber and her younger sister Rita König . She fought for FC Tauberbischofsheim .
successes
In 2000 she won the German fencing championships in the saber singles. In 2001 she was European team champion in Koblenz together with Sandra Benad , Stefanie Kubissa and Sabine Thieltges . In 2004 she took part in the Olympic Games in Athens and finished 17th in the individual.
