Sabine Thieltges (born July 3, 1981 ) is a German saber fencer and European team champion who started for the Königsbacher SC Koblenz .

successes

1999 Thieltges was second at the Junior World Championships in Dijon . In the same year she took part in the active age group at the World Championships in Seoul and finished 19th in the individual and fifth with the team. A year later she was fourth with the team at both the World Championships in Budapest and the European Championships in Funchal . In the individual, she took 18th and 17th place respectively. She achieved her greatest sporting success with the ladies' saber team in 2001. With Sandra Benad , Susanne König and Stefanie Kubissa , she won the European Championships in Koblenz after a narrow victory against Italy. At the world championships in Nîmes in the same year , the team won bronze.

Thieltges became German vice-team champion with Königsbacher FC in 2006 . In the individual she was third at the German Championships in 2001 .
