Susanne Kronzucker

Susanne Kronzucker (born February 24, 1965 in Cologne ) is a German journalist and television presenter .

Life

Susanne Kronzucker is the daughter of the television journalist Dieter Kronzucker . In 1980 she was kidnapped with her sister and her cousin in Tuscany and held prisoner for over two months ( Kronzucker kidnapping ).

Kronzucker received an International Baccalaureate in Washington in 1983 . She then studied political science at the Columbia University Girls' College from 1983 to 1986 and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree. Since 1985 she has worked for NBC , the ZDF office in Washington DC and Hubert Burda Media in New York.

Kronzucker then worked as an editor for RTL plus in Luxembourg from 1986 to 1988 . There she moderated the celebrity talk from 1988 to 1992 as well as A day like no other . She also worked as an announcer . From 1992 to 1995 she studied international politics and economics, Master of International Affairs (MIA) and did further training at the Journalism School of Columbia University in New York.

From May 1, 1995 she was an editor at RTL. From September 1995 she was presenter of RTL aktuell Weekend and deputy of Peter Kloeppel . In January 2004, Kronzucker took over as the successor to Heiner Bremer, moderating RTL Nachtjournals . She worked in this capacity until December 15, 2007, when she gave up the job for family reasons. From March 2008 to April 2011 she was the main presenter of the ZDF women's magazine ML Mona Lisa .

Kronzucker has been the official sponsor of the Bethel Children's Hospice for dying children since January 2010 .

Kronzucker married a Munich lawyer in New York in 1993. After years of commuting between her husband's place of residence and her place of work, Kronzucker moved from Cologne to Munich in 2008 for the new job and lives there with her husband and children.
