Suzanne Bernert (* 26. September 1982 in Detmold as Susanne Bernert ) is a German-Indian actress and dancer who mainly in India through their participation in TV serials and Bollywood films famous nationally.

Life

Suzanne Bernert was born in Detmold and grew up in Grünenbach in West Allgäu . At the age of 16 she began a three-year acting training with Heidelotte Diehl in Berlin . In 2005 Suzanne Bernert moved to Mumbai and from then on played - because of her language skills in some Indo-Aryan languages - in various Indian television series and films. As the first foreign actress, she starred in more than 24 television series in India. She has been married to the well-known Indian actor Akhil Mishra since 2009. In the 2019 film The Accidental Prime Minister , she plays the Indian politician Sonia Gandhi .

In addition to German , English , Italian , French and Spanish, she also speaks Hindi , Marathi and Bengali .

Suzanne Bernert works for the Indian social organization Sulabh International , among others . She starred in a short film for the United Nations .
