Sven-Erik Bäck
Sven-Erik Bäck (born September 16, 1919 in Stockholm ; † January 10, 1994 there ) was a Swedish composer .
Bäck studied at the Royal Swedish Music Academy from 1939 to 1943 and took composition lessons with Hilding Rosenberg from 1940 to 1945 , attended the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis in Basel from 1951 to 1952 and then studied with Goffredo Petrassi in Rome . From 1953 he was director of the Swedish Radio Chamber Orchestra.
Bäck composed three operas and five pieces of ballet, several instrumental concerts, chamber music in various casts, an oratorio , cantatas , choirs and songs as well as music for radio, television, film and stage.
