Sven Axel Hoflund

Sven Axel Hoflund (born August 11, 1906 in Högby on Öland , Sweden , † June 12, 1979 in Kalmar ) was a Swedish professor of veterinary medicine at Stockholm University .

In 1940 he first described the Hoflund syndrome in domestic cattle, which was later named after him .
