Sven Körner (born June 4, 1992 ) is a Swiss floorball player in the position of goalie. Grains is the National League A -Verein Floorball Köniz under contract and is at the end of the season 2016/17 to UHC Thun change.

Herzog went through the junior division of Floorball Köniz . For the 2013/14 season, Körner was integrated into the first team's squad after the previous goalkeeper Samuel Thut migrated to Lindås IBK . Before that he played in the Könizer U21. In summer training he was able to prevail over Simon Dillier and became the second goalkeeper behind Patrick Eder .

After Thut returned to FBK, Thut and Körner formed the goalie duo for the 2014/15 season. His contract was extended for a year. A year later, the association from Köniz confirmed the duo again for a year. This season he was able to win the Swiss Cup with Floorball Köniz in the sports hall in Wankdorf . Thanks to the strong performance of Körner, Köniz also achieved the runner-up title. In the final, Köniz had to admit defeat to the Grasshopper Club Zurich .

On January 11, 2017, Floorball Köniz announced that the contract with the goalkeeper would not be extended and that U21 goalkeeper Lukas Genhart would be promoted to the first team for the 2017/18 season.

UHC Thun

Around a month later, the cantonal rival UHC Thun accepted Körner's commitment. He will move to Lake Thun for the 2017/18 season .

National team

In 2009, Körner was appointed to the squad of the U19 national floorball team. He completed the Euro Floorball Tour 2009 with Switzerland and was used in two games. Switzerland finished the tournament in third place. In 2010 and 2011 it took part in international tournaments and was used 13 times. In the same year he was allowed to take part with Switzerland in the U19 World Cup in Weissenfels , Germany. It was used in five games and achieved a catch quota of around 90 percent. With Switzerland he reached third place.
