Sven Kierst

Sven Kierst (born November 23, 1958 in Düsseldorf ) is a German photo artist.

Life

Sven Kierst lives and works as a photographer in Düsseldorf.

In his photography he deals with motifs of everyday life, which he takes out of their context in order to visualize them in a different way. He is interested in the moment in which a situation is presented or a particular picture is presented to him. This results in motifs that alternate between figurative and abstract composition. You move away from the original state and are freed from it.
