Sven Lindemann (born April 23, 1978 in Chur ) is a former Swiss ice hockey player who played in the position of right winger in the National League A during his playing career, mainly for the Kloten Flyers .

Career

Sven Lindemann, who grew up in Arosa , began his career at EHC Arosa , where he played until 1997. This was followed by brief guest appearances at EHC Chur in the National League B and EHC Bülach . As a 19-year-old he joined the Kloten Flyers in the National League A . In Kloten he became a crowd favorite over time. At the time of his departure in summer 2010, Sven Lindemann was the club's most scattered player, he has played for the club since 1997. For the 2010/11 season he signed a contract with EV Zug and played for the club until the end of the 2013/14 season. He then moved to the SCL Tigers in the National League B .

For the 2017/18 season he moved to SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers in the Swiss League . He ended his active career after the 2018/19 season.

International

Lindemann represented his home country at the junior level at the U18 European Junior Championship in 1996 and the Junior World Championship in 1998 , which ended with the Swiss winning the bronze medal.
