Sven "Svenna" Oswald (* 1975 in Berlin - Spandau ) is a German journalist , radio presenter and speaker , writer and voice actor .

Life

Oswald grew up in the Spandau district of his native Berlin. At the age of 16 he was nicknamed "Svenna", with which he has been addressed ever since. He gave up an originally started teaching degree for the languages ​​English and French in favor of radio broadcasting.

In 1994 Oswald started as a doctoral candidate at Radio B Zwei. A year later he worked as a manager and has written articles in the fields of computers and multimedia for Radio B Two and Info Radio . In 1997 he switched to Radio Eins from Rundfunk Berlin-Brandenburg (RBB), where he initially worked as a unit manager. Since 1999 he has also worked there as a moderator and speaker. Together with Daniel Finger, he moderates the program Zwei auf Eins on Radio Eins and the download charts on the MDR radio program Jump . The program Escape on Radio Eins was also moderated for years by him and his colleague Daniel Finger, but this was discontinued on January 28, 2012. Since April 27, 2012, Radio Eins has been broadcasting the Friday evening program with Daniel Finger and Sven Oswald live from the Admiralspalast from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

In 2000, Oswald, together with his radio colleagues Daniel Finger and Nico Nowarra, founded a company that develops and sets scripts for radio plays and computer games . Since April 2007, together with Daniel Finger and Thomas Günther, he has been producing podcasts for print media and publishers for reader loyalty and MP3 files for companies for internal communication. In 2012 Oswald was also a voice actor for a supporting role in the film Savages .

Oswald moderates the YouTube channels VIP-Magazin , LeinenTV and Svenna does stuff , whereby he is also the operator of the last two channels.

Oswald has two children and lives with his wife in Berlin.
