Svaneti seasoning salt
Svaneti spice salt ( Georgian სვანური მარილი / svanuri marili ) is a herbal salt mixture from the Georgian region of Svaneti . In addition to salt, it contains at least the spices fenugreek , dill , garlic , coriander , caraway , ground peppers and marigolds . The wild herbs are collected in Upper Svaneti in the Greater Caucasus at an altitude of 1,800 to 2,400 meters. The legend has it that include the traditional mix important components of an advanced age. It does not contain any synthetic components. The seasoned salt is used for soups, flour and potato dishes.
