Swen Ennullat

Swen Ennullat (born April 24, 1976 in Wolfen ) is a German local politician , crime writer and whistleblower . Ennullat has been the mayor of Königs Wusterhausen in the Dahme-Spreewald district of Brandenburg since 2017 .

Life

Professionally, Ennullat initially worked as a police officer and then worked in municipal administration until he was elected full-time mayor . In connection with his activities in the public service, he finally drew public attention to what seemed uncomfortable to him, which is why he was repeatedly referred to as a whistleblower.

In the mayoral elections in 2017 in Königs Wusterhausen, Ennullat, who had been a member of the CDU until around 2016, prevailed as a candidate for the Free Voters KW on October 8, 2017 (turnout approx. 35%) in the runoff election with 71.5% of the votes .

In addition, he is involved in various voluntary activities in the local and regional Brandenburg area in child and youth welfare .

In his spare time Ennullat writes detective novels, two of which have been published by Mitteldeutscher Verlag so far .

Swen Ennulat is married, has three sons and lives with his family in Königs Wusterhausen.
