The Sykia Dam ( Greek φράγμα Συκιάς , Fragma Sykias) currently under construction is a large hydraulic engineering project in Greece . The project will transfer water from the Acheloos to Thessaly and supply an extensive area with energy and irrigation water.

The project consists of the construction of a rock embankment dam and a 952 m long concrete water pipeline with an 11 m diameter.

The dam will have a structural volume of 9.6 (or 11.6) million cubic meters and a central core made of clay. The maximum total height is 165 (or 170) m and its length is 440 m. The Sykia Dam is being built near the villages of Sykia and Piges in the central Greek regions of Arta and Karditsa . The planned construction time for all construction work is 65 months.

The hydropower plant is to have two turbines and a total output of 120 megawatts.
