Sylvain Dodet (born May 17, 1974 ) is a former French triathlete . He is a two-time military world triathlon champion (2001, 2004) and multiple French champion (1995, 2001, 2005).

Career

Sylvain Dodet has competed in duathlon and triathlon since 1995. In his first active year, he became French duathlon champion in Miramont-de-Guyenne in 1995 (10 km running, 40 km cycling and 5 km running).

In 2001 and again in 2004 he was triathlon triathlon world champion.

He was able to secure the title of French champion in the short distance triathlon in 2001 and again in 2005. In 2005 he finished fourth at the European Triathlon Championships in Lausanne.

In 2009 he declared his active time over. He works as a triathlon coach.
