Sylvain Idangar (born March 8, 1984 in Paris ) is a French football player of Chadian descent on the position of a striker and midfielder .
Career
Idangar's professional career began in 2003 at Olympique Lyon. Before that, he went through the youth departments of the club. However, he could not complete a game for Lyon in his first season in Ligue 1 or in the Cup . He was only allowed to play once in the Champions League . On December 8, 2004 he made his debut in a 5-0 win against Sparta Prague , where he also contributed a goal. For the following season he was loaned to Ligue 2 for Valenciennes FC . But even there he couldn't prevail and only ran up five times. He returned to Lyon in the summer of 2006, but never made the breakthrough and played mainly for the reserve team. After the 2006/07 season, his contract had expired. He then moved to Al-Watani in Saudi Arabia , before moving to ES Sétif in Algeria in the summer of 2008 . He left Algeria soon after, however, to return to France, where he was briefly represented in the third highest division at SO Cassis Carnoux . In 2010 and 2011 there were short stints at CD Feirense in Portugal and at FC Bangkok Glass in Thailand . After his last station in Thailand, which he left in summer 2011, his further association membership is unknown; According to various media reports, he has since been without a club.
