history
The Jewish community Nová Cerekev built a synagogue building designed in the oriental style in place of a previous building made of wood. The synagogue has a five-sided apse and a wooden Torah shrine .
The former synagogue was used as a warehouse until the late 1980s. The Jewish community in Prague has owned it since 1998. The building was completely renovated in 2013/14. The permanent exhibition "Architecture of Synagogues in the Bohemian Lands" is shown in the synagogue.
