Former synagogue in Velhartice

The synagogue in Velhartice (German Wellartitz , formerly Welhartitz ), a community in Okres Klatovy in the Czech Republic , was built in 1845. The derelict synagogue is now used as a fire station.

history

The building in the classicism style was used by the Jewish community until the German occupation in 1938 . In 1950 it was converted into a fire station with an apartment above.
