The synagogue in Altleiningen , a local community in the Bad Dürkheim district in Rhineland-Palatinate , was built in 1834. The synagogue was on the lower part of the footpath to the castle .
In 1880 the Jewish community Altleiningen applied to dissolve the Jewish community in Wattenheim and to incorporate the Altleiningen community as a branch. This request was not granted by the authorities, so that after many of its members emigrated, the Altleiningen Jewish community had to be dissolved in 1905 and the synagogue profaned .
The synagogue building was later demolished.
