Synagogue (Ciechanowiec)

The synagogue in Ciechanowiec , a town in the Podlaskie Voivodeship ( Poland ), was built in the 1870s. The secular synagogue is located at ulicy Mostowej 6 . The former synagogue has been a protected architectural monument since 1981 .
history
There was a large Jewish community in the city of Ciechanowiec . This was wiped out by the German occupiers in World War II and the synagogue was misused. It has been renovated in recent years and has been used for cultural events ever since.
