Synagogue in Praszka

The synagogue in Praszka (German Praschkau ), a small town in south-western Poland , was built in 1836 in the classicism style. The secular synagogue is located on Tadeusz Kościuszko Street . The representative new synagogue replaced an older wooden building.

The synagogue was partially destroyed during the Second World War . Then the building fell into disrepair. It was renovated in the 1960s and now serves as a cultural center .
