The synagogue in Zülz , a country town in Poland , was built in 1774 and demolished in 1939.

history

Since the end of the 14th century, numerous Jews had settled in the Neiss suburb in particular . In contrast to other Jews in Silesian cities, they were not expelled at the end of the 16th century. Between 1780 and 1820, about 50% of the population was Jewish.

The synagogue in the style of Baroque was away from the center of the city. It replaced a previous wooden building that had been destroyed by fire. The synagogue offered space for 300 men and 100 women. After the Jewish community in Zülz was dissolved in 1914 due to the emigration and emigration of its members, the synagogue building remained unused. It was sold in 1939 and demolished soon after.
