Synagogue district Niederzissen

The Niederzissen synagogue district with its seat in Niederzissen , today a local community in the Ahrweiler district in northern Rhineland-Palatinate , was created according to the Prussian Jewish Law of 1847 .

Around 1860, the Jewish families from the villages of Burgbrohl , Glees and Niederweiler also belonged to the synagogue district in Niederzissen . A few years later the families from Wehr and Kempenich were added.
