The Syrbach ( Luxembourgish : Syrbaach ) is a four kilometer long stream in Belgium and in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg . It is a left and northern tributary of the Sauer .
geography
course
The Syrbach arises north of Surré at an altitude of about 360 m from the confluence of the Harelerbach and Bëtlerbach .
The combined stream first flows south through Surré, then runs for about two and a half kilometers through a narrow valley to the border with Belgium, where the Surbich flows into it on its right side . The Syrbach then marks the border between Luxembourg and Belgium for a good one kilometer between Boulaide and Tintange . About 700 m downstream the Haemicht reinforces it on the left side .
The Syrbach finally flows into the Sauer from the left at a height of about 333 m .
Tributaries

- Bëtlerbach ( right source stream )
- Harelerbach ( left source stream )
