Szilveszter Liszkai [ ˈsilvɛstɛr ˈliskɒ.i ] (born March 1, 1987 ) is a Hungarian handball goalkeeper .

The 1.99 meter tall and 103 kilogram goalkeeper has been under contract with the Romanian club Stiinta Municipal Dedeman Bacau since 2012. Before that, he played for two years at KC Veszprém , with whom he won the championship and cup in 2011 and 2012. In the meantime he played in Pick Szeged for a year . Before that he also played for KC Veszprém. With these two clubs he took part in the EHF Champions League in the seasons 2004/05, 2005/06, 2006/07, 2008/09 and 2009/10 .

Szilveszter Liszkai has played a total of 30 international matches for the Hungarian national team so far ; he was in Hungary's squad for the 2010 European Handball Championship .
