Töllsjö is a place ( Tatort ) in the Swedish province of Västra Götalands län and the historic province of Västergötland . It is also a place in the municipality of Bollebygd .

The place is between the town of Alingsås and the town of Bollebygd on Lake Töllsjö . The river Nolån , which runs through the village, flows into this .

In the years from 1863 to the municipal reform in 1951, Töllsjö was an independent municipality, after which the place was assigned to the municipality of Bollebygd , which in turn belonged to Borås from 1974 to 1994 .
