Türk Show is a television broadcaster with full programming for European Turks with a production focus on Germany. The producer is Sonfilm Marketing, Film und TV GmbH, based in Cologne-Dellbrück . Broadcasting takes place via satellite and individual cable networks.

The broadcaster mainly transmits live formats such as television shows with special topic relevance for the Turkish-speaking population group in Germany and Europe, but also information programs and feature films . Well-known programs of the station were u. a. Portreler, Art Temple, Türk Danış (Danışma Saati) and Bir Cift Turna.

Türk Show TV can be received digitally via satellite via TürkSat , and also via cable in Hamburg from the cable providers wilhelm.tel and willy.tel and in North Rhine-Westphalia and Hesse from Unitymedia .

The broadcaster has been participating in the Türkvizyon Song Contest for Germany since 2014 .

The company was founded in 2004, and on May 13, 2005 the program was approved by the State Agency for Media in North Rhine-Westphalia (LfM). News, concerts and talk shows are produced in Cologne-Dellbrück . A sitcom that is set in Keupstrasse , which is close to the station and dominated by a German-Turkish dialect typical of Cologne, became particularly popular.

With its intercultural programs, Türk Show sees itself as a link between two cultures. The program offered by the politically and religiously independent broadcaster aimed to entertain the whole family with political, economic, social, scientific and cultural topics. According to Güler Balaban, managing partner of Sonfilm, the station reaches 90% of the Turks living in Germany.

According to its program director Hatice Balaban-Cobanwill, the station wants to expand its offering and attract German viewers to this attractive program content.
