The Türyançay ( Russian Турианчай Turiantschaj or Тюрян Tjurjan ) is a left tributary of the Kura in Azerbaijan .

The Türyançay arises on the southern slope of the Greater Caucasus through the confluence of the Qaraçay and Agriçay . It flows initially in a south-westerly direction, later in a predominantly south-westerly direction and reaches the Kura-Aras-Lowlands . It flows through this in a southerly and later in a southeasterly direction. He passes the city of Ağdaş . The lower course is channeled. About 10 km above its confluence with the city of Zərdab in the Kura, the Göyçay meets the Türyançay from the left. Some of the river water is diverted for irrigation purposes .

The Türyançay has a length of 134 km. It drains an area of ​​8920 km². The river is fed by snowmelt as well as precipitation .
