The Göyçay ( Azerbaijani for "blue river") is a left tributary of the Kura tributary Türyançay in Azerbaijan .

The Göyçay rises on the southern slope of the Greater Caucasus . It initially flows in a south-westerly direction, later in a predominantly south-westerly direction.
