Thomas Jason "TJ" Guidarelli (born January 27, 1977 in Lakeville , Minnesota ) is a former American ice hockey player .

Career

TJ Guidarelli began his career as a hockey player with the junior team Twin Cities Vulcans, for which he was active from 1995 to 1997 in the United States Hockey League . The center then played for four years for the Minnesota State University team, Mankato , before making his professional ice hockey debut for the Quad City Mallards and Rockford IceHogs of the United Hockey League in the 2001/02 season . He then moved to Europe, where he played from 2002 to 2007 in Germany for SC Riessersee , EHC Munich and EV Landshut in the 2nd Bundesliga and Oberliga . The left-handed shooter only spent part of the 2003/04 season at HC Innsbruck in the Austrian ice hockey league after SC Riessersee was excluded from playing in the 2nd Bundesliga due to financial problems.

In the 2007/08 season Guidarelli was in the French Ligue Magnus with HC Amiens Somme , as well as in the Swiss National League B with EHC Olten under contract. For the 2008/09 season he returned to his ex-club SC Riessersee, which had meanwhile returned to the 2nd Bundesliga. The American then signed a contract with Erste Bank Eishockey Liga newcomer KHL Medveščak Zagreb for the following season , for which he was able to score 64 scorer points, including twelve goals, in a total of 63 games.
