TD Cars (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is a Malaysian manufacturer of automobiles .
Company history
Edward Teo founded the company in Kuala Lumpur in 1998 and took over vehicle production from the Australian manufacturer TD 2000 . The production of automobiles began. The brand name is TD 2000 . The shares are 85% in Malaysian hands and 15% in Australian hands. Koay Choon Gun has also been with the company since June 2003.
The vehicles have been exported to the United Kingdom , Singapore and Australia since 2001, to Taiwan and Japan since 2002 , to Brunei and Kuwait since 2003, to the United Arab Emirates , Macau and New Zealand since 2004 and to Egypt since 2005 .

The only model is a 1950s-style roadster . It is similar to the MG T-Type . A four-cylinder engine from Toyota with 86 mm bore , 86 mm stroke and 1998 cm³ displacement has an output of 96 kW and drives the rear wheels.
