Inokom Corporation Sdn Bhd is a Malaysian manufacturer of automobiles .
Company history
The company was founded in 1992 as a joint venture between Berjaya Group Berhad , Pesumals , Renault and Hyundai . Sime Darby Motors is the parent company. The production of automobiles began. The brand name is among other things Inokom . The seat was originally in Selangor and since 2008 in Kulim in the state of Kedah . In 2012 the company produced around 14,000 vehicles.

The first Permas model was the licensed edition of the Renault Trafic . Later the Lorimas followed under Hyundai license.
According to the company, the Hyundai models Elantra and i10 as well as Santa Fe are offered under the Inokom brand (as of December 2015).
The company assembles the BMW X1 , BMW X3 , BMW 3 Series and BMW 5 Series , Mazda 3 and Mazda CX-5 models and, since April 2014, the Ford Transit, using the Completely Knocked Down system .
Vehicles of the brands Foton , Jinbei , Land Rover and Mini are also manufactured (as of December 2015).
