The THV Cup is organized annually by the Thuringian Handball Association (THV).

mode

In addition to the ongoing games in the handball leagues, the cup competition is contested in the elimination process. All teams of the current season who have volunteered will take part.

The THV-Pokal will be played in four consecutive knockout rounds with the final as the last round. In the first round, the teams registered voluntarily compete against each other. In the second round, the teams of the Central German Oberliga, from the semi-finals onwards, representatives of the third division.

Statistics 2019/20

Game operations were suspended on March 12, 2020 until at least April 19, 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic . On April 21, 2020, the THV Presidium decided to cancel the THV championships in all leagues. Thus, no cup winner 2019/20 has been determined. The 2019/20 cup competition will continue and will continue in the current 2020/21 season.
