TJ Innova Engineering & Technology
TJ Innova Engineering & Technology Co., Ltd. ( 上海 同济 同 捷 科技 股份有限公司 ), or TJI for short, is one of the largest private companies for the creation and construction of vehicle concepts and concept vehicles in the People's Republic of China . The company was founded in 1999 by Professor Leiled Tji and Tong Jian . The company headquarters are in Shanghai .

prehistory
Leiled Tji gained first experience in the automotive industry from 1989 in cooperation with the China FAW Group , the Changchun Auto Research Institute and the Harbin Industry University . In 1991 he founded the Auto Technology Institute under the direction of the Harbin Industry University, under which he devoted himself to the design of design studies for the first time . In 1999 he founded the current company.
TJ Innova
With TJ Innova, which now presents itself as an independent company, it was the first company to dedicate itself to creating new design templates with modern digital media . More than 1,400 people are employed in the company. TJI has already designed more than 200 vehicles. Some of them are even produced by well-known Chinese and Japanese car manufacturers such as the Lifan 520 , Soueast Zinger and the Soueast Lioncel . The manufacturer's best-known concept vehicle is the TJ Innova Lightning , which has appeared in two generations and whose 2005 model concept looked similar to the Ferrari 599 GTB introduced a year later and which in the second, 2009 version, should be a serious competitor to the Maserati GranTurismo and Aston Martin DB9 . So far, neither of the two concepts has been bought by any manufacturer. TJI is also a registered brand name . But TJ Innova has also already received several awards.
Matchedje Motors
In July 2011, the company also opened its first foreign plant in the Southeast African country of Mozambique; it was created as part of a joint venture with the Mozambican government and bears the name Matchedje Motors . The first car was delivered in September 2014.
