The Mitsubishi Zinger is an MPV based on the Mitsubishi Challenger and has been produced and offered in Taiwan since December 2005. Since June 2007 it has also been offered in the Philippines as Mitsubishi Fuzion . From the second half of 2007, Soueast started production as Soueast Zinger for the Chinese and other Asian markets. The vehicle is powered by a Mitsubishi 4G64 gasoline engine with a displacement of 2.4 liters and an output of 108 kW via a five-speed manual transmission . Due to new emissions standards, the Mitsubishi 4G69 gasoline engine with 2.4 liter displacement and 119 kW output has been installed in combination with a four-speed automatic transmission since 2008 .
