The Mitsubishi Freeca is an MPV for the Asian market and is built in Taiwan , China and the Philippines , where it is known as the Mitsubishi Adventure . It was first introduced on September 11, 1997. In 2005 the 50,000th Adventure was manufactured in the Philippine plant.

In Indonesia it was produced as Mitsubishi Kuda until 2005 and also produced as Mitsubishi Jolie for Vietnam .

The Chinese company Soueast manufactures the model as Soueast Freeca and Mitsubishi Freeca .

CKD vehicles are produced in Cape Town for the South African market and marketed as Africar Landio and Africar Jockey .
