The Mitsubishi Town Box was a kei-car minivan made by the Japanese automaker Mitsubishi Motors . It was manufactured from 1999 as the successor to the minicab (minivan). Initially there was the Town Box with an in-line four-cylinder engine type 4A30 with 657 cm³ with an aluminum cylinder head, but since 2002 an in-line three-cylinder engine with 659 cm³ of the type 3G83 was installed. At the same time, the slightly larger version, which was marketed as the Mitsubishi Town Box Wide and had a 1.1 l R4 engine (1094 cm³), was discontinued. There were also versions with all-wheel drive . Sales ended in November 2011 and the model was replaced by the Mitsubishi Bravo .
Proton Juara
The Town Box Wide was also built under license in Malaysia by Proton under the name Proton Júara from 2001 to 2003.
Mitsubishi / Soueast Veryca (since 2005)
As Mitsubishi Veryca or Soueast Veryca, it has been produced by Soueast since 2005 .
Nissan Clipper Rio U71W / U72W (2007-2012)
From 2007 to January 2012, the minicab was offered by Nissan as the Nissan Clipper Rio through badge engineering . Differences existed in the design of the radiator grille and the brand emblems.
