The Nissan NV has been available in North America since 2011 . Until the introduction of Nissan NV, Mexico was the only country in North America where a full-size Nissan van, the Nissan Caravan , was sold. The Nissan NV is the first full-size van to be built and sold by a Japanese automobile manufacturer in the United States and Canada. The name NV stands for Nissan Vehicles and was introduced throughout the group to name commercial vehicles . The first representative for this is the Nissan NV200 which is offered in Europe and Asia . In Europe there is another representative with the Nissan NV400 , which has a similarly designed front as the NV, but is technically not identical.
Models
Currently only the commercial panel van variants S and SV with a wheelbase of 3711 mm are offered. From 2012 the van versions will also be sold and longer wheelbases will be possible. The length is 6111 mm, the width 2029 mm and the height varies between 2131 mm and 2692 mm.
All models have, among other things, rear-wheel drive, 5-speed automatic transmission , 4 disc brakes with EBD and anti-lock braking system , driver and front passenger airbags , belt tensioners , electrical traction control , ESP , CD radio, foldable passenger bench and bottle holder. As an SV version, additional equipment such as B. Electric windows , central locking , cruise control , high-quality radio and load compartment cladding with side panels included.
Nissan NV 1500
The NV 1500 is the entry-level model. It has a payload of 1.24 tonnes with a gross vehicle weight of 3.86 tonnes and is powered by a 4-liter V6 petrol engine with 261 hp, max. 381 Nm at 4000 rpm and a maximum engine speed of 5600 rpm. The loading volume is 6.6 m³. This model is not available with a high roof, the "headroom" in the cargo area is a maximum of 1.42 m.
Nissan NV 2500 HD
The NV 2500 has a payload of 1412 kg with a gross vehicle weight of 4131 kg. The 4-liter engine is used as standard, the 5.6-liter engine is also available as an option. With the optional high roof, the load space is 9.1 m³ with a standing height of 1.95 meters.
Nissan NV 3500 HD
The NV 3500 has a maximum payload of 1748 kg with a gross vehicle weight of 4495 kg. The standard equipment is the 5.6-liter V8 engine with 375 hp at 5800 min −1 and 525 Nm at 4000 min −1 . Here, too, the cargo space can optionally be expanded with a high roof.
Nissan NV Passenger HD S / SV / SL
The NV Passenger is the bus (van) variant with up to 12 seats. It is optionally available with the 4.0 or 5.6 liter engine (except SL, only 5.6). The bus is not available with a high roof.
