The Nissan Armada (until 2005 Pathfinder Armada ) is a passenger car model of the Japanese car manufacturer Nissan . The eight-seat Armada is the SUV version of the Nissan Titan pickup and was identical to the Infiniti QX until 2010 . All three vehicles are based on Nissan's F-Alpha platform. The first generation, built between 2004 and 2016, was built in Canton Mississippi . The second generation presented in 2016, like the Nissan Patrol, is produced in Yukuhashi in Japan .

As engine is a 5.6 liter V8 engine with 227 kW (309 hp) at 5200 min -1 and a maximum torque of 520 Nm at 3200 min -1 are available. The power is transferred to all wheels or only to the rear by means of a five-speed automatic. Consumption is between 15 and 20 liters of normal petrol per 100 kilometers, with the engine also being designed for ethanol operation.
The equipment includes ESP and airbags for all three rows of seats. The tailgate can be opened electrically and releases the trunk with a maximum capacity of 2574 liters. An automatic air conditioning system for the front rows is available inside the vehicle. There is a DVD entertainment system for the rear rows of seats with a screen in the roof. There is also a Keyless Go system, a hard disk navigation system with voice control and touchscreen, a reversing camera and electrically adjustable pedals and seats.

Nissan presented the second generation of the SUV in February 2016 at the Chicago Auto Show. The vehicle has been on sale in North America since August 2016. The platform shares the second generation with the Nissan Patrol and the Infiniti QX80. Like the previous model, the SUV will again be offered with rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive . The Armada is powered again by the 5.6-liter V8 gasoline engine, the new generation of which has an output of 291 kW (396 hp).
