Nissan Primastar (2002-2007)

The Nissan Primastar was a pickup truck and minibus , the 2002 European offer of Nissan to Nissan Vanette Largo / Cargo replaced. The Primastar was identical to the Renault Trafic  II and the Opel Vivaro  A, which had been built since 2001. All three models were initially manufactured at the GM Manufacturing Luton facility . The Primastar was later produced by Nissan Motor Ibérica in Spain . While the Renault Trafic III and the Opel Vivaro B have been built since 2014, the Nissan NV300 derived from them has only been produced as the successor to the Primastar since 2016.

From 2006 the Primastar was offered with four different engines:

All engines were offered with a manual six-speed gearbox. An automatic six-speed gearbox (6-speed Easytronic ) was also available for the 2.0 dCi with 84 kW and the 2.5 dCi .
