The Nissan Evalia is a minibus from the automobile manufacturer Nissan based on the Nissan NV200 . In Japan , it is still produced and sold in a similar version with the name of its predecessor as Nissan Vanette . The Evalia only differs from the NV200 in a few interior and exterior equipment details. The grill on the Evalia is chrome-plated and the bumper, door handles and exterior mirrors are painted in the same color as the car. In addition, the rear side windows are tinted black and instead of rear wing doors it has a tailgate . The Evalia is produced together with the NV200 at Nissan Motor Ibérica in Barcelona.
The market launch was in September 2010 on the Spanish market. The Evalia has been available throughout Europe since May 2011. In addition to the engine range of the NV200, a diesel engine with 1.5 L and 81 kW is available. Compared to the NV200, the Evalia has higher-quality materials in the interior and also complete cladding of the interior. The instruments are fitted into aluminum frames. There are two single seats at the front and a fold-away or retractable two-seat bench and a single seat in the middle. If desired, two additional single seats that can be folded away to the side can be ordered for the third row. If all seven seats are used, there is a trunk volume of 280 liters; if the two rear seats are folded away, the load volume is around 890 liters. If the middle row of seats is also folded away, almost 1500 liters are available. The front wheels are individually suspended on wishbones and MacPherson struts . The front axle stub is decoupled from the passenger compartment by rubber bearings, which reduces vibrations and rolling noise.
The standard equipment includes driver, front passenger and side airbags , electronic stability program , anti-lock braking system , electronic brake force distribution and brake assist . In addition, a manually adjustable air conditioning system , a CD radio with Bluetooth hands-free system and USB interface, as well as keyless access using an intelligent key, a reversing camera, aluminum wheels and electric windows . Apart from the third row of seats, metallic paint and the Nissan Connect infotainment system (extended navigation system ) including cruise control , no extras can be ordered. When it was launched, the list price for the Nissan Evalia started at € 19,480 .
The Nissan Evalia is also offered in an electric version with 5 or 7 seats as the e-NV200 Evalia .
