Model description

The car is based on a Nissan Skyline GT-R R33 V-Spec . The body was given a new body kit and the RB26DETT engine of the skyline was completely redesigned. The pistons, connecting rods, crankshaft and intercooler were replaced. The channels on the cylinder head were polished. The cylinder liners of the crankcase were expanded to a displacement of 2771 cm³. The RB26DETT has now become an RB-X GT2 , which generates 294 kW (400 hp) at 6800 rpm and 478 Nm at 4400 rpm. The weight of the 400R increased to 1550 kg, 20 kg more than a GT-R R33 V-Spec. It sprints from 0-100 km / h in approx. 4.0 seconds and reaches a top speed of 320 km / h with a 5-speed transmission. The regular clutch was replaced by a two-plate clutch from Nismo. The 400R was lowered by 30 mm and the shock absorbers of the GT-R 33 were replaced by sportier dampers from Bilstein. The car also received brake pads and brake discs from Nismo. In addition, it was fitted with 18-inch Nismo LM / GT1 on 275 / 35ZR18 RE710kai tires as standard. Inside the car there are also some changes compared to the standard skyline, a leather steering wheel with airbag and a striking “Nismo 400R” emblem, a gear knob made of titanium and Nismo sports seats.
